Cannot Download DVR recordings
the old DTV app, IIRC allowed me to download and view recordings in my IOS device, a new device I downloaded the DTV app but it appears to be different and I do not see a download option any longer, am I missing anything?

Well if you just compare adds, more channels less $ on sat ($79 for first months 105 channels streaming and $69 for 200 channels sat.) I guess you need to compare exact channel line up and why your current plan is so high.

I understand that since other have mentioned the app does not support DTV stream / cloud DVR download to a mobile device.
I understand the technology, and if I can get content from a stream then there's no reason for me to download anything.
we're talking 2 separate issues here, my original issue was my CURRENT DVR and DTV APP, with someone else hijacking the thread talking about streaming, that's not a problem for me, I can manage both thoughts, you're getting confused. I will at sometime move to a streaming provider and it may not be AT&T DTV Stream

As stated earlier it is a bug in the app that is not allowing you to download to the mobile device when it will be fixed is unknown.

Erica1 - I cannot pick and choose 'ala cart' my channels on DTV SAT, DTV provides 'packages' I choose a package that fit me at the time, but again that's not the issue I was having, eventually I'll only stream, currently since I have fiber most of the content I'm now watching is from FREE streaming services, eventually I"ll pay for live tv or not.
the HD antenna tech is getting better and better, so I may go that route for live local tv, that's another cost I pay, local stations.
you're not taking into account the fee's for the DVR service and the Genie's I'm paying for

it would be great if DTV support was on the forum and could answer, or give some estimate of when the 'bug' would be fixed. I also hope they, or someone would post when a solution to this bug is made available.

AFAIK this forum was set up so DTV wouldn't have to do that and someone will most likely post here if it is fixed.
