Care code 205.4

I too am having the care code 205.4. I am unable to log into either MASN or NBC Sports app because when I enter the correct ID, I get the code stating this ID is not known. Over the past 24 hours I have retrieved the ID numerous times and changed my password. I have cleared cache and cookies also. How can this be fixed since it appears system wide?

You don’t need to go through the channel’s actual app because both channels have their appearance on the DIRECTV application for both phones and tablets. Just simply download the ‘DIRECTV on the Go’ application and login with your DIRECTV credentials. From there, you can watch live programming of the channels you like. There is no reason to go through the channel’s app. Why did you want to do so?

In my situation I cannot always use the DIRECTV app. My regional sports channels have 2 channels. The team I watch may be on the channel not in the guide. That is why I use app.  I had no issues with this until 07/08/22 and this is happening all over. Neither is Bally so it’s also not a Bally issue

'Directv on the Go' doesn't exist. If you don't want to pay for Directv's streaming service, which should already be included with my satellite and phone bundle, using an app for just what you want to watch (NFL, NBC) is the better alternative. There is a very real issue with be able to use the service we have paid for.

Yes it does. (or at least did since it was removed from the App Store recently) And, your option of simply paying for certain channels doesn’t always work. Most channels like ESPN require you buy an entire package of stations.
