Certificate error installing Videogaurd 13 on W10 Prov. 21H2
While attempting to install VideoGuard.13.0, I'm getting a CA security warning that the certificate for drmlocal.synamedial.com cannot be validated. I'm including info from the install log below. I've seen other posts on this issue but, no solution or more info..
I'm not interested in installing software that isn't able to be secured.
Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. It was downloaded when I clicked "Watch" from the Directv website.
I've tried the same process on 3 additional W10 machines and they all exhibit the same Cert issue.

We we're trying to watch a show on Cinemax but, streaming from that site doesn't seem to want to work either..

Cinemax does have TV EVERYWHERE functionality so it should work properly. What error code do you get? How did you try to sign in? Do you actually subscribe to CINEMAX as an premium add-on with DIRECTV?

Yes, we subscribe to Cinemax. We used to watch Cinemax Go but, its now gone and HBOMax doesn't have all the Cinemax series available. Hence the DirecTV route.
