Code 205.4 when using Bally Sports App.

After successfully connecting with DirecTV as my "Provider" on the Bally Sports App for many months, it stopped working around 8pm eastern time on 7/7/22 and I received code 205.4 that indicated that my DirecTV ID is not valid. So far, I've been on the phone with DirecTV technical support as well as their digital assistance group, who sent me back to technical support.

Do we have an estimated timeline when this will be resolved? It has been almost a week, a known national outage for several days and still no resolution. Your app does not run fast enough for streaming, leaving many folx who use their computer/tablets/smartphones to turn to streaming through the channel directly. This error has locked many of us out of all of our channels, will there be compensation?

The only reason I have DirectTV is to be able to watch baseball. I have now missed 6 days and counting. I expect my bill to be credited for each day that  the games are unavailable.

This can't be that hard to fix. What is the specific problem? Is anyone actually working on this? If so, in what manner?

@shannon02 I do pay more for having a package that includes my sports as well as the regional sports fee and we rely on these services outside our homes.  If they aren’t going to work reliably I would go and pay for a streaming service that will.

I am having the same issue but I I am getting error code Care 201. Have reset my password a bunch of times. The app on my phone works, but not my IPad

Doesn't change the fact that you don't pay anything more and there will be no credit for not being able to use the internet.

It’s the Bally sports app. Now it won’t work in my phone either. I am a directv satellite customer with Bally sports on my plan. I was working until last week.
