Direct TV versus Uverse

I understand that ATT does not want to support Uverse any longer. Is Direct TV any better or should I find a new provider?

DTV has nothing to do with AT&T Uverse that can no longer be subscribed to.

@Bob_Eaton

AT&T has grandfathered U-Verse in that they are not accepting new subscribers. But there is no official shutdown notice on it (as of yet).

It depends on your needs if DirecTV is the way to go. It is delivered by satellite, so you need a clear view of the sky and the receiving dish being securely mounted. It can connect to home internet for additional features but it is not required.

I would look at the DirecTV website for intro pricing and to check the channels that matter for you. As a note DirecTV is satellite but DIRECTV STREAM is delivered by internet, so two different providers.
