Directv keeps freezing
I see people had issues in the past about freezing issues with Genie 2, I have unplugged disconnected and did everything people said to do and still have the same issue and seems to be getting worse, is there any updated info on this issue I am having? because if I have to pay for another receiver... no more Directv for me!!

You won’t have to pay (a lot) for a replacement box. Well, if you have the Protection Plan, it’s free. Otherwise, it’s $19.95 for the box and shipping.
If the box is freezing and you have already tried the common red button reset, unplugging for 5-10 minutes, etc I would assume the hard drive inside the Genie 2 is failing.
