For the last two months, I get error code 771 Satellite Signal Issue, Watch in lower resolution most evenings between 5 pm and 7 pm.

HiDef channels are beamed from different satellites than the standard definition channels. The SD signals are stronger and less susceptible to dish misalignent. A DirecTV tech can fix this for you.

99% of these issues are caused by dish misalignment. Call DirecTV and request a service visit.

Thanks for the comment. If my dish is misaligned, why does it not affect my other remote units? Why only at certain times of day? Only affects my HD.
