Not sure what you're asking about. Nobody here can issue you a refund. You need to call DirecTV.

An error code is not cause for a refund, but troubleshooting to get the problem resolved.

This error is caused by the Genie Mini having trouble connecting to the Wireless Bridge or reaching the Genie. There is no reason for a refund as this isn't DIRECTV's fault, but your responsibility to fix. Please answer these questions.
1. What are the models of your current receivers? If you have more than one Genie Mini client, does it function or show error 612 as well?
2. When did this start happening?
3. Have you tried a red button reset on both the Genie itself as well as the Genie client?
4. Is the Wireless Video Bridge connected properly and showing lights? If not, recheck power cables and coax connections. If the issue persists, the client itself may have an issue connecting to the Genie, and in that case, a replacement would be the next step.
