I feel like I'm being nickeled and dimed to death. I look forward to the day where I can pick the channels I want to create my own package.

Yeah I 100% agree.

Nope, that isn't even close to what I hope for. I want an a-la-carte package. Either a package based on the number of channels, say pick your favorite 30 channels, or better yet, pay for the channels I want without a limit. And the options for channels are not limited. I can choose from every available channel. The first streaming service that get's a setup like that will make trillions!

I'm already retired! I thought I would never see the day when there would be wireless in-the-house internet, but I have that now.

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (HM&M) channel is special.

It is part of the Movies Extra Pack add-on (formally called the HD Extra Pack). This is a set of channels that were not in any package. 

A few years ago HM&M was added to Select, Entertainment, Preferred Xtra, and Premier. It is the first (and only so far) channel of this pack to be in any package.

Because several networks can have one owner, they do not allow TV providers to al-a-carte. They are packaged to TV providers which in turn must be packaged to us. There is no indication of this ever changing.
