How do I set up Direct TV on the V555-J01 model?

There is no DTV sat app you need a dish and DTV sat receiver connected to the TV.

DirecTV is satellite service that requires a receiver/client on every TV. There is no TV app, only an app for smart phones and tablets. You pay for each authorized TV on the service so there is not an option to get a free TV by way of an app.
However, do you perhaps have a different provider called DIRECTV STREAM? That is a streaming-only service, similar to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Just making sure as AT&T made a poor choice with naming this service causing it to be confused with the satellite service too often.
Whether you have the traditional satellite service, or the newer streaming-only one, it is DirecTV, not Direct TV (no space and there is only one T in the brand). Searching a bad spelling and you might wind up at a scam site, so be careful.
