Clearly explain the issue. You've said the TV doesn't get power. If that is the actual situation, then check the power plug like any other device at home.
If power is not the issue, than describe specifically what you're experiencing and what you've tried so far.
You say the DirecTV box is not connected to a satellite. Do you have a streaming-only service, or you do have satellite but just not connected to it?

So if your TV doesn't have power either, than you need to check your home's power and where the cords are plugged into.
