listen to Pandora while watching TV on Genie 2
Just upgraded to a Genie 2 system and one of the many disappointments is that I can no longer listen to Pandora while watching TV. Does anyone have thoughts on a work around? Is there a suggestion box on the DirecTV website that I could register my request that this incredibly beneficial feature be restored? Thank you!

Not sure if this helps, but there is a red reset button on the side, keep that pushed in until the unit reboots, when it comes back, the Pandora app should appear. I have had that happen to me when I have got a new DVR and thought they did away with Pandora and a buddy told me about this. Best of luck

Thanks for the prompt response! I have the Pandora app, my frustration is that I previously could listen to Pandora AND watch TV simultaneously. That feature is no longer available.

DTV removed that feature when they went to the Genie series with the HR34, the last model that still has it is the HR24 which you can't get because the HS17 Genie2 account will not allow anything but clients.
