Loss of Series Recording in Gemini Air

After 25 years as a DirecTV satellite subscriber, I switched to Gemini Air when a DTV contractor refused to go on my roof and wanted to install a second dish on the same roof just to replace a cable. For several months now I have been very pleased with the switch. In early August (of 2026) my cloud DVR SERIES recordings suddenly stopped working on all of my Gemini Air devices. The series record icon still appears in the Guide, but nothing new is added in a timely fashion to my "List," though I have found some - but not all - of my scheduled news programs appearing 24 hours later. Also, when I switch to a new channel, I am still offered the choice of watching the "live" recording appearing at the beginning - and it works!
After trying the usual troubleshooting, I got through to a Level 1 DirecTV tech person whose only answer was that he found that my WiFi signal was under 5 Mbs. I told him I was sitting immediately beside a 1GB router and my iPhone 17 Pro registered even more than that on a SpeedTest. I eventually convinced him to consult a more-senior tech person. He called back almost an hour later to say this was recognized. systemwide problem and would be fixed in 2 days. I called back three days later and did some more troubleshooting, including accessing the same programming and recordings on my PC. I got the same result and convinced the tech person that this was not a local hardware issue. I am still waiting for a solution.
QUERY: Has anyone else faced this same problem, and if so, were you able to fix it and how did you do so?
Thanks in advance for your help

We're aware of the recording not showing up until 24 hours and are looking into it, @apcorcor. There's no timeframe for a fix yet. We'd like to have more details to further help with our investigation. Can you share which specific show(s) were delayed and the date of the recording? John, DIRECTV Community Team

Just some info so you and others are aware:

Per change in Federal regulations (OSHA) DirecTV isn't permitted to go onto your roof. The change and expenses they would need to do to be in compliance is not feasible when they are not roof workers and are just working with a receiving dish and associated cabling. As such, all work must be able to be completed from the ladder itself.

Though that is understandable, I do wish there was perhaps a discount or promotion for those that have older installs verified done by DirecTV (as opposed to 3rd party or self-install). It is not simply a refusal, but they are not allowed. Sorry but they are not going to violate Federal regulations for a customer request.
