What’s the model of the new satellite? Also, what isn’t working about it? Does it refuse to turn on and lock onto the directv satellite? Also, what receiver is being used? Thanks

Depending on the year of the RV --it's most likely MPEG2 --or it's- The unit was never working when sold .

The Solid signal folks Know RV units and do installs Across the county and can help the OP ID his system 

Also, there is the possibility the satellite dish he bought is MPEG-2 as those stores are trying to unload them while they have some limited use until the shutdown completes for everyone.

dtv has a service that handles their rvs/boats/etc satellite service that might be able to help...its called Winegard and phone number is 866-609-9374 or www.winegard.com

@iamdebbie1978 Winegard is an independent company, they do not belong to DIRECTV and have no relationship with DIRECTV other than the fact that they make domes and satellites that work with DIRECTV service. Also worth mentioning that Winegard ONLY helps people with Winegard products.

Check your facts. Winegard is not part of DirecTV. They sell domes and dishes for satellite providers in general, not just DirecTV.
