My direct tv is stuck on one channel. The only thing working is the power button the mute button and the volume button. I have unplugged reset and yes the batteries are fine

What DVR/Receiver model number?
What remote control model number?
Try resynchronizing the remote and DVR/Receiver by pressing MUTE + ENTER buttons simultaneously.
