my remote won't change channels
The tv in our bedroom won't change channels. I've reset the device, changed the batteries in my remote and it still won't change channels. The remote will change the volume. Please help!

The remote is not supposed to change channels on the TV. It changes channels on the directv receiver. Your TV input should be set to the input from Directv, it's often HDMI 1.
