NEW DIRECT TV FORMAT IS A DEAL BREAKER.

How can anyone, with the slightest bit of intelligence,  think this new format is anything but the worst idea anyone could come up with?  NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE OLD FORMAT AND "WE" WANT IT BACK.  I AM WILLING TO CANCEL MY OVER $200 A MONTH SUBSCRIPTION THAT I HAVE HAD FOR YEARS AND YEARS.  A GREAT NUMBER OF MY WATCHINGS DEPEND ON FUTURE RECORDINGS, BUT DIRECT TV HAS (Edited as per community guidelines) THAT UP ROYALLY.  Get your arrogant, don't understand or give a (Edited as per community guidelines)  about customers, (Edited as per community guidelines) your high horses and fix this now!!!

As an aside - Look where Cracker Barrel changed it's decor and it's core customers reacted the same way as "your customers" are reacting now.  Cracker Barrel realized they screwed up by not asking customers their preference and returned it to the previous decor or suffer the consequencies..  Anything can be reversed.

Don't even try to claim it can't be reversed because it can and will ve reversed or lose your entire business and your many jobs.

This is a public forum for customer to customer help. For official support you call DirecTV.

The moderators are just keeping the forum civil. There is an official forum help team, but they are a small group not guaranteed dedicated support so no guarantee they will respond.

Yes many things can in theory be reversed. Doesn't mean they are easy, cheap, authorized, or obligated to do so.

Regardless if they reverse the change or not, this doesn't end the business and everyone's jobs. Sure have criticism against a change you don't like, but keep it within a realistic perspective. You don't have sole say over them staying in business and keeping their jobs.
