NFL Sunday Ticket AT&T retiree package

Now that Direct TV has been sold from AT&T, are they still offering the NFL Sunday Ticket as a free benefit for retirees who have Direct TV? I tried to look at a channel on my TV today and it was telling me I need to subscribe. Does anyone know?

Look at your bill or account. If it’s still free, it should be listed as a $0 charge item on your bill. Looking at a channel before the start of the season doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Even if you aren’t getting it free, the first week is a free preview. Tune in tomorrow, the Sunday Ticket channels will be live.

It has always been DirecTV, never Direct TV.

AT&T did not sell off DirecTV. They added in a co-owner, retaining 70% ownership.

The NFL Sunday Ticket will not show you authorized on Saturday or any other day of the week except Sunday. Check your bill or account to verify what you are subscribed to and the cost. The new co-owner does not change the pricing model for retirees or otherwise. Only expected price change would be the traditional adjustment seen in January each year (with notice in December) to compensate for increasing costs from the networks.
