Please restore the old LIST format for recordings

If anyone at DirecTV actually reads this, please restore the simple “list” function of recorded programs.
Two days ago, its was replaced on my satellite service with a cumbersome, counter-intuitive image-based screen with a “browse” button that doesn’t browse, it takes you back where you started in an endless circle.
There’s now a useless side panel full of options begging to be clicked by accident. “Useless” because “all recordings,” “continue watching” etc. DON’T WORK. They say you have no recordings.  
This new list only shows “recently recorded” programs – whatever constitutes “recently.” Earlier episodes of a series are no longer listed. There’s no “show all” option. “View playlist” doesn’t show a playlist at all, it takes you back to the opening “browse” screen. But after several steps and clicks – rather than one – you can actually find “episodes” – if you can remember the way there.
If you get “info” on a recording, the “back” button no longer takes you back to the image of the recording, it takes you out of the list entirely, and you get to start over.
Finally, it appears that you can no longer directly delete recordings from this list.

I’m an adult; I don’t need an image to know what I’m looking for. And I can actually tell a movie from a TV show. Bring back the old list format!
