Poor connection in detached garage

Hi- we like to watch TV in the detached garage about 40 feet from the main house. The signal/connection is awful. Constant buffering, inability to load, you name it. I know that Directv doesn't offer a signal booster. I have been reading into the WVB option but am not sure if it will be compatible with a C41W-100 genie box. Would putting a WVB inside the detached garage hopefully give us a better connection? I realize we should have done a wired-in option but at this point we have to stay wireless. Thanks in advance!

The WVB requires a RG6 connection (from your swim splitter location) meaning you need to add a rg6 to your garage to add a WVB in location.

if you were going to do that adding a wired RG6 from your swim splitter to wired mini in garage would work much better.

You would only need to spade the rg6 under the GRASS to get to out building

What Genie DVR model do you have?

How far is the garage wireless mini Client from the main Genie DVR?
