Problem with new Directv app - unable to watch shows recorded on DVR on my iPad

I have my DVR and iPad both connected to my home Wi-Fi network.  I’m able to watch shows recorded on my DVR with the old Directv app.  I installed the new Directv app since there’s a message on the old app that it will be discontinued after January 23rd.  However, although I can stream Live TV with the new app, no matter what I try, My Library remains empty.  I only use my iPad at home so I know it’s connected to my home Wi-Fi network.  

Please provide a solution for this issue.

This is a known problem with the new app, DTV may release an updated app on the 23rd.
