Samsung Tablet - Suddenly Unable to Log into Directv via Food Network Go App
The title says it all. I'm using a Samsung tablet to stream Food Network programs using the Food Network Go app. When I first used the app several months ago, I signed into my Directv account directly from the app and was able to watch any available shows. Two days ago without warning, the normal streaming shows were locked and I was directed to log in by choosing my TV provider from a list and entering my log-in information. I did as asked (choosing Directv, obviously). After entering my log-in information and clicking OK, the screen disappeared for a couple of seconds and then reappeared with all entries blank, as if waiting for me to enter log-in info. No error message, no notifications. I've tried the same approach several times over 2 days and the result is the same. And no, there are no typos in my entries. My credentials still work at the ATT website so that is not the problem. I have deleted and reinstalled the Food Network Go app with no effect.
What is going on and how do I log in successfully?

Please uninstall and reinstall the Food Network app and once it is downloaded use your DIRECTV credentials to log in again.

Maria: As I mentioned in my original note, I already tried deleting the Food Network Go app and reinstalling it. I went through that routine again today (uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it) with no change. I am asked by the app to sign in to my TV provider (Directv) and am presented a screen with which to do that. After entering my User ID and password, I click "submit" and the same sign-in screen reappears after 5 seconds. I did finally find a work-around. I discovered a DirecTV app for tablets and installed that app. After signing in with my Directv credentials, I was able to choose the option to watch live TV and I selected the channel of my choice; it works.
