Scheduled Braves vs Marlins game 7:20 p.m. Thursday Sept. 2,2022 channel 649 fails to appear.

What do you mean by ‘it fails to appear?’ Does it not show up in your Playlist? Was it scheduled in the first place and cancelled last minute? Also, it would help to know the receiver model and other receiver models you have.

DTV has no control over a channels programing if there was a technical problem with the game there is nothing DTV can do about it.  You are paying DTV to deliver satellite channels not the programs.

  Folks, FYI  I'm a new customer of only a few months and was assured by DirecTV rep that my subscription included programming for the Atlanta Braves (which is the sole reason I fired Dish and subscribed to DirecTV) Receiver model is HR54-700 and a Joey for upstairs bedroom. 

  The game in question had been prescheduled for recording at the beginning of the season and was not cancelled by me!  The Sept. 3 and subsequent games are still on the upcoming schedule.

  On one previous occasion the same problem occurred and a helpful CSU was able to find another channel where we could watch the game.  This time the CSU rep was no help.

  DirecTV may be providing channels but they don't do me any good when the programming is haphazard.  From what I see there's what appears to be a bidding war and the programming is subject to last minute switching.

  And, for what it's worth, my newspaper career included decades of investigative reporting and customer service experience.  IMHO big  tech is general is not providing satisfactory customer service.

DTV has no control over what the channels do with their programing if the game was switched to another channel then it was done without enough time to update the guide maker to change it and get it to DTV to put into the guide stream to update the 10 million DVRs.

So what was on that channel?

My dad is having the same issue! Set to record the Sept 4th game and it's not listed.

This happened to my dad as well. Set to record game and it didn't record it. It does show the game from Sunday the 4th will be recorded today at 1:00.

But the original Sunday set to record game 9/04 is not listed the recording list.

That's because something prevented it being shown yesterday. That's why I asked what was actually on 629.
