Taped programs automatically go to end and I cannot view or rewind to beginning

This can happen if there was a satellite reception issue during the recording. 

What DVR model number do you have?

Any on-screen error messages?

What channel(s)?

No error message came up.  It was ABC - Channel 7 most recently.  I don't recall what other channel(s) it was in the past.

DVR Model # is HR24-500.

Hi @Dot2022 we're ready to take a closer look at what's going on with your recordings.

Keep in mind that partial or blank recordings cannot be recovered. However, by checking the receiver history and settings you may determine why or how the title was partially recorded and help prevent it from happening in the future.

Did you try to record a game or sport event? Those might be blackout from recording based on broadcaster rights.

Ok.  Let me see if I can figure out how to check the receiver history and settings.  If I run into issues I will log back in to this forum.    I did not try to record a game or sport event.   

Hey @Dot2022 , Let me share with you the steps to manage the program recordings using your remote.

To manage recordings

1. Press MENU on your remote
2. Go to Recordings and select VIEW PLAYLIST
3. Select Manage Recordings

I've done this already and couldn't determine any issue as the program is listed.  I did move it up the list on my programs listing to see if putting closer to the top ranking order helps.  Sure wish there was a way to get to an episode of a show that didn't record.  Frustrating to miss episodes and have to wait for a rerun to see it.

Just to make sure, does it happen on all channels or just specific ones?
