Is it only TCM that does it or has it happened on other channels?
What model box?
Verified HDMI is secure on both ends?
When you unplugged the receiver, was it long enough it dumped the guide data?
Are either the DirecTV box or TV set plugged into a 'smart' power strip?
Model of TV?
Have you tried another HDMI port on the TV or HDMI cable if you have one?
Moved box to another TV or another box to that TV to see if issue stays or follows?
Coax finger tight to the box?
Oh, and is it the same box you were having trouble with for Epix a while back?

Do you have another HDMI cable to try?
So both TV and DirecTV box (H24) are plugged directly into a wall outlet?
If your TV has HDMI-CEC I would turn it off.
Have you tried unplugging your TV from power for a couple minutes?
If you had another HD TV, I would have you try that with the box. At least that would narrow down if the issue is on the DirecTV side or your plasma TV.

Either the channels, your DirecTV box, or the TV itself could be the issue. Not having the issue a couple months ago doesn't change the possibilities.
You could certainly try reaching out to the network itself to see if they are aware of an issue with their feed to DirecTV. One way or another that would narrow down what is actually causing the issue.
