Tuner Activity cannot access live tv
I cannot access live tv - I keep getting an error that says "Your live tv tuner was taken by master at 5:21p Sun 5/18. To time to 360 FNCHD select an option below. Press exit to return to to 9981 "DTV
9981 is a random movie called Novocain that says it's recording. I cannot stop the recording or

Do you have satellite or one of the streaming-only options?
What are the models of box(es) you are using?
What troubleshooting have you tried?
Are you using a regular antenna (with AM21 or LCC) with your DirecTV equipment?

DIRECTV is aware of this issue impacting HR54-500 boxes with the 0x1DD1 build that started on 8/25/26. Customers can manually downgrade the box to the current National build (0x1D96) by rebooting and entering 02468 on the remote when the Hello Screen is displayed. Mark, DIRECTV Community Manager
