TV listing on new TV

I just moved my mom into an assisted living apartment complex that offers Direct TV to all the rooms via coax cable (so no box).  I can get all the channels on the smart TV and it even knows what channels they are but the TV listing will not load/download - it just constantly says "No Information"...the TVs are new Samsungs.  Any ideas on how to get/load the channel listings with the programs playing?  Is it possible?  Thanks.

You need to contact the MDU company that services that complex.

Hello @wtatefitz thanks for reaching out, we are happy to help.

(MDU) is used for Multi-Dwelling unit accounts, you can contact the dealer in charge of the service at 888.342.7288. Also, please let us know if you need further assistance, we are here for you.

As there are no boxes on the TV's themsleves, along with that beeing an assistited living, then that should mean the place is classified as a Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU). This means the facility is not serviced by DirecTV themselves, but a system operator that works for a 3rd party dealer. Similar to some apartment buildings, multiple residences/units are on the same physical setup instead of a separate one per unit.

I would check with the facility to see who their system operator is. That or call the MDU number the help team provided in the earlier post.
