Where are movies that I purchased found? Can they be downloaded to a computer or USB?
I would like to purchase a movie on Directv (not rent). Where can I find that movie? Can the movie be stored on my laptop or USB?

You can only rent there is no way to save or keep what you watch if you want to purchase a movie or show you might want to use another service for that such as VUDO you can purchase movies and tv shows and go back and watch them anytime using your computer/tablet/phone etc...

The movies are only licsensed on the box that made the purchase. The "purchase" option they had was sketchy. Your box goes out and needs replacing, you lose it all. There is no way to transfer to USB or a computer as they are authorized for DirecTV service only, not purchase to keep for life or on other media.
