DirectTV with FireStick

No error messages. Steaming is not not available for any channel.

I had a Roku and the DTV app would sign in so I bought the FireStick . 

with the FireStick I was able to sign in. I have the option to record programs or watch recorded programs 

I can’t stream with Firestick. With Roku I couldn’t sign in. I also can’t watch on demand with FireStick.

The menus are there. No error message

With Roku I could never sign in.

with Firestick I can sign in. I think the problem is the Direct TV Stream video player doesn’t work on Vizio tv.

I was on the phone with DirectTV for an hour. They viewed my setup via my camera phone. Still no solution

I can stream on my SmartTVs just fine.

With the Vizio TV and using Firestick 4K I don’t get the play button for Live TV or for on demand content

First of all, which of the 3 TV Providers do you have? DirecTV (which is primarily by satellite), DIRECTV STREAM (streaming-only), or DirecTV by Internet (streaming-only, new version to get closer to the traditional TV experience)?

You mention Roku, Firestick, and Vizio TV. Whether you use Roku or Firestick, the TV being Vizio should not matter at all as it is just a display. Or were you trying to use an app directly on the TV itself with no Roku or Firestick?

These two questions have been asked a few times as they can change the information and guidance you get. Please answer them so all in the thread are on the same page for your setup.
