Gee, let's add more confusion to the differences between DirecTV Satellite and DirecTV Stream. And I guess it's not an across-the-board name change yet. Also, 2-year price lock .... does that mean 2-year contract commitments, too?

Want to add some more confusing to the rebranding? The article says the name change will only be if you use one of its Osprey streaming players. All the other streaming devices will still see DirecTV Stream! What id**ts could be running this service? Amazing! Just Amazing!

ITT/ATT has been hiring anyone with a pulse as a expert for years. It is impossible to describe what they come up with over the years, people would just not believe it.
Even if you showed them Pictures/Video.

I would have thought that with AT&T selling the 30% of their stock in Directv and letting them take over the day-to-day for Directv/Directv Stream. You would think that they would be improving this service not trying to make it worse but that seems to be that they also have no idea what they are doing. I would think that they would run major changes through people who are customers/potential customers to see if it would improve things not add to the issues but that does not seem to be the case here from everything that I have been reading.
