Directv Stream/Roku remote down arrow no longer triggers guide
Pressing DOWN on the roku remote use to bring up the guide. However that stopped working as of this morning. Directv App Build 3750102 Version 3.34.
Now to get to the guide you have to hit the Back button, then select guide (multiple button presses).

4 months after being told a “fix is available” this problem has still not been resolved.

Unreal how this is still a thing. I know DTV caters to basic people that use 3579328753 remote controls and doesn't have a higher end system with IR or IP control for ATV's and other streaming units, but this is pretty pathetic lol.... Note an uninstall of the app, reboot of ATV, and then open the DTV stream/now app works fine and the "down arrow" works to show the program's details and more info etc as it should on the IR/IP controlled remote control, but if you restart the ATV or force close the app or come back in later, then it doesn't work anymore.

If anyone is still having issues after what was supposedly changed a while ago, you can consider a BBB complaint as that goes to the corporate level.
As for those complaining they left about 8-9 months ago, yet are still complaining, that is not productive. Either submit that complaint higher up, deal with it as is, or cancel the service like you claimed you were. Otherwise at this point you are screaming into a void and cannot be perceived as realistically expecting anything to change because of it.
And since there may have been some confusion, those with the ACE tag are experienced customers recognized for giving a lot of accurate and productive responses to help other users (not "fake employees"). Those with the "employee" tag are posting on their personal time, so not in an official capacity. Both shows this in their signature lines. The official forum help team and moderators are identify as such.
Hope that clears things up. Please keep posts respectful and leave false/toxic accusations out of the forum. Thank you.

I've seen comments on here that the only way to access the DIRECTV guide from ROKU is to use the back button. This just started this morning for me.

Atleast the new Apple TV update works finally. Only took over a year. I guess they just focus on price increases these days lol

What is the deal with Direct TV Stream? No contract service with Disney should be a credit to the consumer. If I cannot watch what I am paying for I should not be billed for your your problems with a contract dispute, that is your problem!

There is a credit! Go to "tvpromise.com". They are offering a $20/month credit till the issue is resolved.
