Guide Display on my TV

I am unable to get the whole guide to display on my TV.  It will not move out of the "Recent's" setting so I can view the entire guide or change channels. I have checked my TV and it is currently up to date on software.  Any suggestions?

The Samsung app has many problems. You are best to use an external device instead of the Samsung app. There are 100's of posts on the deficiency of the app.

You would be way better off using an external device such as a Directv Streaming Box, Roku, Firestick/cube, etc...  There are so many issues with the Samsung TV app and there have been no fixes for these issues and this has been going on for a long time.  I would recommend the Directv Streaming box as it makes your viewing experience more like a traditional Cable/Satellite box with a numbered remote control and guide button and direct access to your DVR recordings and voice control. You can buy a refurbished box for $49.99 through Directv.  Hope this helps!

Tiger593 is giving you some good advice here. The bad thing about using apps on the TV itself is that after about a year the Tv manufactures don't give a hill of beans if that app woks or not they only care about their latest model of TV.

The good thing about Apple tv, Roku and such they are independent streamers (kinda ) and make their living with you using their equipment to stream with. You are just going to get a lot more caring if your app works or not. If you are not tight on the budget, I use Apple TV and it has been rock solid for me.

A lot of reviewer's on the internet just love Roku.

Hope this and Tiger593 advice helped you out.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Dtv Stream app? They are right about the Samsung tv app. When I first signed up for Dtv Stream in 2021--I used the Samsung tv app for 2 days then ordered a Dtv Stream box. The Samsung app sux.
