NBC Atlanta

When will you bring back NBC Atlanta? This is the worst time of year not to have access—holiday and sport specials!  Can you at least give customers as to how negotiations are going so we know whether we need to switch providers or not?  UPDATES PLEASE!!!

Complain to Tegna, they are the ones demanding almost double for these channels that would in the end drive up the cost for consumers. As we are customers like you on a public forum, we know just as much about the dispute as you do. I'd assume that the dispute could be resolved in as soon as within the next few days or as long as within the next 3 months. Only time will tell

Directv is offering a one-time credit to help people pay for Peacock or even get a cheap over-the-air antenna while they are negotiating with Tegna.  To get this credit all you have to do is go to www.directv.com/tvpromise and fill out the information for the one-time credit.

How do you expect them to let you know how it is going? Oh Tegna is looking interested, oh but they changed their minds and were just playing the negotiating game. Bottom line, they have it or they don't.

It is up to Tegna on when they return their channels. Right now they are holding out for increased costs, JUST LIKE LAST TIME. Hopefully it is a short negotiation like before, but nobody knows until it happens.

Switching providers does not protect you. They all go through these carriage negotiations. Unfortunately local affiliate owners are pulling their feeds more often in recent years.

It may be the worst time of year for you, but that makes it the best time for Tegna. They bet on that to use us customers as leverage. I guess if enough people complain, DirecTV caves and then our bills go up that much more as Tegna wants. That is the special your local affiliate owner gives you.
