Nexstar...What is this promisetv site
I was directed to use the PromiseTV.com website to get info on the Directv/Nexstar negotiations, however, I can only pull up a blank page when I attempt to access that site?
Any ideas?
Also, could anyone tell me how long this dispute has been going on?

That isn't the complete address. Here you go: https://www.directv.com/tvpromise/
The carriage agreement expired so the channels were removed by Nexstar in July. As for when the dispute actually started, nobody outside of either company knows when exactly they started negotiating and when an impasse (pre-removal) was reached.

You can type it in or even www.directvpromise.com (old URL which redirects to the new one).
But if all that still gets a blank page, something is going on with either your computer or internet.

Yeah...my system is not having issues with other sites. So, tried clearing cookies, shutting down AVAST, tried yet another browser, no luck. The only thing I can figure is a glitch with some remote server. Haven't looked around for dedicated TV Promise support yet.
I can probably get just as much relevant information here so, I think I'll stick around and listen for news!
