That is not a guarantee. Even if DirecTV and Nexstar resolve the carriage agreement renewal, that doesn't mean every channel (CW or otherwise) will be covered in all affected areas.
Only DirecTV with Nextar's permission can make such a statement, only when/if an agreement is reached. Not a promise you or anyone else here can make. Until then, it is only a hope.

And beyond their ability to treat each station individually, I’m not sure how high the likelihood that DTV and Nexstar will get an agreement, at least anytime soon. DTV has sued Nexstar, which doesn’t bode particularly well. Also, it’s quite possible that one side or both will want separate agreements for satellite and streaming, and if that’s the case, satellite will be more important for both because of far more subscribers. And it’s also conceivable that even if the others weren’t problems, they might not be able to come to a mutually acceptable financial arrangement. There will be limits beyond which DTV won’t go, because those cost increases get passed to the subscribers, and there’s definitely limits on their ability to raise the subscription rates. So it might not happen. For example, DTV/AT&T and the NFL didn’t come to an agreement early in 2019, and Stream (and the predecessor services) have been without NFL Network since.

DirecTV Stream better start playing nice with CW. The ACC just signed media rights with The CW, so ACC sports fans with DirecTV Stream may start looking for other services

If your CW is owned by Nexstar, than DirecTV is playing nice. They are negotiating to minimize any higher cost. Or do you mean you want DirecTV to cave to the higher rates and increase our bills that much more?
There are no other services that are immune from carriage negotiations. And Nexstar is one of the worst when it comes to this.
For anyone in the dark about Nexstar owned stations:

Anyone rooting for Nextstar is rooting againt themselves. They're well known to do whatever they can to jack rates to providers as high as possible, which means the end users rates, go up, up, up. If that's what it takes to get CW back on DTV-Stream, I'd rather do without. I'm tired of corporate greed, where companies raise prices far beyond their rise in expenses just "because they can".

Very well said.
To get around these issues with local affiliates, I prefer to use a regular antenna as a backup. That way I get the free broadcast and can just let negotiations play out. Some areas get additional sub-channels that DirecTV doesn't provide, so the antenna can still be worth it even after channels are back.
I would think most of us went to pay TV for what our locals weren't providing. I do understand some are in bad reception spots so pay TV is how they can get their locals which is unfortunate.
Nexstar might be the biggest offender, but Mission, Sinclair, Tegna, etc. all have their day in the sun on this.
