Rent/Buy Movies Now Available
After the latest software update---you can now buy/rent movies on the Dtv Stream box in the "on demand" section--and if you scroll down under the "watch now" tab. I wish there was a way to password/passcode protect it.

I agree with you that there needs to be something put into place so that it is not so easy to order. The way it is set up right now will make it easy for my small children and even guests to just help themselves to buy or rent movies at my expense without my knowledge.

I don’t see it on my Osprey and says software is up to date.

They roll out software. If you aren't seeing the rent/buy option then it's not truly up to date. 30.5.3.31 is the current software version. Just b/c you check for updates and it says it's up to date doesn't mean it is. Just means software hasn't been rolled out to you yet.

Looks like they have updated the software again. Just checked and mine is now 30.5.3.51. Mine allows me to view the Premiums that I subscribe to, but when I select a Premium I don't subscribe to, It asks if I want to subscribe to that channel.

@lou_do Yah, I've always seen that......"subscribe" in the corner of a show on a premium I don't sub to.
