It's a warning message for inactivity, and It's part of the features that come with our service. However, let me know how often is this happening, so we can take a look further. NatalyC DIRECTV Social Media Specialist
I do believe my customer was able to turn off the feature with the instructions. It happened at their location b/c they have it in showroom area as a demo box. So no one is changing channels throughout the day.
I know they are using the app on a TV. I am not sure he will know how often he is getting the message as he is not monitoring the area where they are using the app/osprey box that often. I do have that question in to him to see if he can estimate.
For the DIRECTV app, there must be no errors. That is why I want to know how often this happens to you. However, for the DIRECTV Box, you can disable the "Are you still watching?" message by going to settings. To do this:
1. Press the button that looks like a house on your remote control and go to where it looks like a gear, then hit OK.
2. Go down to the system and hit OK, then hit OK on display and hit OK again.
3. Go to power saving and select OK to turn it off. This should prevent the message from popping up

Customer does have an additional question...they use the DTV App too. Is there a way to switch it off in the app?
Thanks!
