Watching shows offline with new App
With DirecTv new App, can you download your shows to watch offline? I often watch the DVR shows I have recorded on my TV on my IPAD offline. With the new app, I can't find anywhere to download a show to watch offline. Anybody know anything about this?

You have to watch shows within the app. You cannot download shows and there has never been that capability.

I would download the shows within the Directv app and then could watch offline...like on vacation but still within the App. I don't see anywhere to do that in the new App.

What do you mean download within the app? Do you mean set shows to record and watch them from the DVR list? There is no downloading b/c shows are recorded to the Dtv Stream cloud. What device are you using? All shows are recorded and available in "my library" If you are having issues accessing recordings tonite there has been a huge outage most of the night that affects multiple streaming services, including Dtv Stream.
Also you cannot watch recorded shows "offline" If you are within the app you are not "offline" Using an app---means you are online.

This sounds like the MobileDVR option for DirecTV (satellite). This is the forum section for DIRECTV STREAM which is a different provider.
Do you have DirecTV or DIRECTV STREAM?
