Access point not found

TV screen says access point not found. I have tried to reboot based upon TV instructions, but, no luck.

Good afternoon @alabamacity

We understand that you are having a problem with your U-verse TV service.  We can help with that.  Now to make sure that we understand you correctly. Are you talking about that you TV is unable to find your internet access point, or is it your U-verse cable box unable to find your access point.

 

Can you please confirm which scenario it is so we can help you properly?

Did this ever work previously or is the a new setup?

Is the WAP ethernet connected to the gateway (router/modem).

I don't know what internet gateway I have, I only know that I have U-verse
TV and Internet. I have my router on the opposite side of my house from the
TV that says that it cannot find access point. My other 2 TVs in the house
are working fine.
