HRTV and TVG
I have been a UVerse customer since UVerse came to my NE Ohio area in the summer of 2007. Two major things appealed the price with all the channels and 2 horse racing channels. In December of 2013 UVerse decided not to renew a contract with TVG, making HRTV the only accessible horse racing channel through UVerse. Now that TVG has purchased HRTV and has said they are shifting the main track content to TVG and leaving the lower level track content to HRTV, I want to know if UVerse is going to do what it can to get TVG back? I was upset when they alienated customers like me by getting rid of TVG, but I do say this if I lose my main horse racing viewing via HRTV and UVerse does not get TVG back, I will become a former UVerse subscriber. As a loyal customer for nearly 8 years I love UVerse, but am growing tired of losing channels I enjoyed, along with the annual rate increases. I've been told it's through these forums where the bureaucrats at UVerse will listen to customers concerns, I hope they do now!

Same here, I will send a channel request also, but with the purchase now both channel are needed.
Will seriously look at other options if Uverse doesn't get on board.

Thank you for contacting HRTV and TVG,
Tracks that broadcast in HD, like Gulfstream and Santa Anita, are now being shown on TVG exclusively. Tracks that broadcast in Standard Def are shown on HRTV.
AT&T U-verse customers should call AT&T and tell them to make a deal with TVG so they can see their favorite tracks again. We have offered TVG free of charge to U-verse and they declined.
Since you live in a TVG wagering state, you are able to open a TVG account, for free, and watch all of the races live right there on your computer or mobile device, like smartphone or tablet.

Aggreed! I am a former Comcast customer and now a U verse customer. Comcast send a special duo of people around my area attempting to get people who switched back. U verse really needs to get with the program so to speak. U need to get TVG back!! I believe that HRTV is not long for this world. All the HRTV people are gone except a few. I am paying to much for what you offer now, but i didnt care because i had HRTV i dont want to see Turfway Park, Hawthorne. I will give it a reasonable amount of time and then i guess i will just go back to Comcast!!--not the end of the world but if U-Verse keeps cutting channels and losing customers, they may not be around much longer in my area either!!
Dissappointed customer!!
