Is everyone having the same problems we are?
When we signed up for U-verse it was with a representative that came to the house. We were old that we would get 3 gift cards. One for $200, one for $150 and one for $50. Well there was no such promotion when we got signed up and we got the $200 card was all. We have had AT&T (Southwestern Bell) for over 50 years now for the home phone and many years for the cell phone, along with the DSL plan since back in the 1990's. We never had a problem with any of them and still don't have a problem with the internet or phone service but the TV service is rotten. I worked fine when they put it in but about 10 day to 2 weeks ago the TV that was on Wifi were crashing and no service with them. I chatted online with a rep. and was told that someone would be out on Saturday afternoon 4-8. When no one showed up I called and was told that we were not on the list for a tech to come out, they sent someone on Sunday, the next day 12-4 pm. They replaced a wire from the house to the box outside our back fence, and it started working again. The next day the workers came and buried the cable that had been left on top of the ground and had to unplug it. TV worked for a while that day and every day since has crashed and no TV service. We are paying over $70 a month and we could be having service with a company in town that we had good service with for half that but we were promised it would be cheaper with U-verse. We are going on 2 full weeks of no service. I believe ATT has not kept up the contract that was signed with us and if I have to they will be sued and we will take all our service to some other company unless the service gets better. Like most of you the ones that you talk too with U-verse do not seem to know what to do.

I have scheduled for a tech and hopefully it is not like the time before and they don't show. If they don't then I am very seriously thinking of contacting our attorney and taking all of our service somewhere else. This has been the craziest thing I have ever heard of. Everytime I have called they have given the run-around until tonight and the lady made an appointment for tomorrow but this has been going on for 2 weeks now.

I ran the trouble shoot and that is when the appointment was not made for the tech to come out so thank you I will NOT be doing that again. The problem is with the ATT equipment or other problems would be occuring.

Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your Uverse service problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time, response may take up to 2 business days.
This is not the regular CS/TS people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done. I personally know as they've helped me on a DVR swap.
