U-Verse Games Channel going away

As of 5/1, the U-Verse Games Channel will be discontinued.
I see AT&T wishes to unleash wave after wave of "This was our favorite channel. When will it be coming back?" upon us poor ACEs.

The largest problem I've had with the games channels is how easy it is to accidently navigate away from them by pressing the wrong remote button and losing your game progress. When they started this "for pay" games channel (vs. the Yahoo one that had been free), I said you've got to be kidding.

Saw a good post by my thoughts explaining ATT is aligning things w/DirecTV and none of these things were on DTV.
Also, they brought CBSS (643/1643) down to u200 and above, not posted anywhere, but it does show up in this channel lineup I suggest to other users:

Another user asked earlier about it and checked this lineup and it shows the change. 😉

Well, I'm sure they will ask about it on FB/Twitter and they will post the blog announcement, if not already. I don't FB or Twitter anything. What can you really convey in 140 words, yeah I heard they upped it a bit (200?). Learn alot on NewsRadio 950 here in metro Detroit.

U-Verse Games App Discontinued. bit.ly/..... #U-Verse #AT&T
The bit.ly would link to a press release at the AT&T site. Either way, they're not violating anything when they announce via a relatively hidden page and one media outlet, but more channels would never hurt.
