Just about every U-Verse page on FaceBook page that you go to is full of complaints.
This one has people complaining about the loss of the programming guide, and many other things.

My suggestion is to navigate to the website of the network you want to watch and bookmark it. Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge (if you have Windows 10) are best suited for this purpose. Rinse and repeat for all the broadcasters you are subscribed to depending on package (eg. U300). In many instances, you will have access to more content than what was provided through the old uverse.com portal, especially when it comes to on demand.
There's a post in the forum I created specifically for Windows 10 which explains a simple technique to create these bookmarks in Start menu.

OK, whew, I thought it was just me. I was going round and around in circles on ATT/Uverse websites trying to find the program guide (and my recordings on DVR) I kept getting links to upgrade my package or see channel options, but not the actual channels themselves! It was frustrating! Why would Uverse take this away??? I'm not a fan of using the app or even the remote control.

If you have an Apple TV you can airplay from the iOS device to the TV in full screen, of course, this requires the extra device (Apple TV). I am also frustrated with the dropping of the live stream website on the desktops. I did not see an announcement about this coming but then again I don't read the 20 some emails AT&T sends me every week. I don't think it is coming back because of all the reasons JefferMC mentioned in the previous post.

I agree that this is an attempt to further sway users to changing their service to DirectTV. I will NEVER get DirectTV. Who in their right mind would trade a direct hard line to their house for satellite? I live in the dead center of Milwaukee, WI and I can't get half of my local channels when there is bad weather. That is why i pay for Uverse. If there is bad weather my signal is not degraded. A satellite connection will never appeal to me.
That being said about the ridiculous decision of AT&T to focus on Direct TV and let Uverse customers migrate to other cable providers, why would you take away the ability to stream in PC browsers. This is a major feature that I look for in a service provider and something I use frequently in my home office. I will be moving my service back to Spectrum(who has this feature) if AT&T bring this feature back. This is a very poor decision by someone at AT&T, and I'm sure you will lose many more customers than just the people who take the time to complain about it on this board.

Looks like just one more way that AT&T is pushing to make everyone switch to direct TV??

I don't understand what your reply means. My question is the same; what happened to being able to view channel guide with programs by hour that we could view from our laptops? Why are people who prefer to view this online being shut out?

There has never been a reply from ATT except for the robotic message about how communication helps. I do not believe they have even read this.

I agree. I used the programming guide everyday to plan and to control my DVR. After talking to customer service and realizing the guide is gone for good, I reluctantly decided to download the app. I could not get it to successfully download to either my phone and my tablet won't connect to att.com. I get a message telling me they do not support my browser's security settings, suggesting I change or update them. There is no way to update them and my android OS is updated to the latest settings. I know att wants to switch everyone to direct since I get accosted every time I go to the store. That is not an option since I live in an apartment where satellite dishes are forbidden. At this point there are no competitive alternatives in my area but I'm sure there will be eventually and once they arrive, I'm gone. In the meantime, I will cut my service to bare bones and switch my phone and internet.

Not anymore. It was discontinued on 11/01/2017.
The only way to watch U-verse when you're away from home is if you have any of the following devices:

To get them to listen to us instead of keep replying to all with:
"You can access Uverse with the Uverse app"
That reply is not listening to what we are saying. It is about laptops and computers and windows based cellphones.
I Feel like we may need to start chanting to them!

said many have this complaint and they are trying to see if it can be
reinstated on home computers. No time given for this change to take place.
