DVR is re-recording old episodes

We have series set to record new episodes. This has worked seamlessly for the first two years. In the past two months we’ve noticed it was recording episodes we already watched. We delete them check to see if we have programmed only new episodes. Then the next day it has recorded them all over again

UNCORRECTABLE VERTICALLY SQUISHED VIDEO that is geometrically distorted, Letterboxed widescreen content on widescreen distribution channels

I watch EarthTV via DTV on HD widescreen channel 267. All of the content is letterboxed and there is no way with the DTV or TV controls to stretch the image vertically to fill the screen. No internet connection on 4K Firesticks

Both of my 4K Firesticks display No network or internet connection with an orange circle with an exclamation in it. Also in the lower right there is 8000 displayed. I’ve cleared cache and data. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app and it still comes up with the same error.
