Watching DIRECTV

on The old DIRECTV app I was able to watch all of my recorded shows on my iPad . This new DIRECTV app will not let me see some of my recorded shows it says DVR viewing only . Also certain channels that I used to be able to watch I no longer can watch it on the new app . On the old App I could watch

I cannot get direct tv to work on my laptop. It works on my apple devices.

I have had Directv service for over 20 years. Recently, a new building in my city has been erected and is blocking one of the signals I need to get HD service. What are my options??? My wifi in the area is not reliable and streaming is NOT a good solution. I do not want to loose my service.

Is it my imagination or does it seem like all the movies I care to watch are not free? Even the bad movies from the 50s have a price tag. ROKU also has costs for many these movies. Although I do find more free movies on ROKU. James

I've installed the Directv android app. I find the app very unreadable. I have difficulty reading black text on white background. And it doesn't appear the they are planning any improvements. Other then my t.v., is there somewhere else where I can manage my recordings?? James
