DIRECTV dropping OANN?
How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN? They do not lie! The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives! My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

CNN and MSNBC reported for months that the COVID vaccine would stop COVID and yet it hasn’t and it doesn’t. They lied. They said Richard Jewell bombed the Olympics in Atlanta yet he didn’t. They falsely reported Trump was opposed to all immigrants when he clearly stated he was only opposed to ILLEGAL immigration. The lies go on and on - so are they getting cancelled?

Truth existed before the invention of the wheel. It existed before trains, the car, computers, and the internet. It will exist after the internet. I have watched OAN for several years. They research and present facts. Often they expose corruption of politicians with proof. Darkness hates the light because it exposes them. OAN is being targeted for this reason. The American people know what is happening. The left cannot overcome the truth with a lie, so they are trying to remove the truth to win the upcoming 2022 election. OAN will hold the left, right, and center accountable. Im an independent, and I trust them. They have proven their trustworthiness time after time. If you think it might be "fake", WATCH IT! The truth will set you free.

Since you are making a decision to non-renew One America News in an attempt to subdue free speech we are making the decision to not sign up for any ATT/DirectTV services. Subduing free speech is what is done in Communistic countries.

Once the contract is up with OAN, my service will be canceled. One of the only channels I watch for real news.

I would like to contact DTV and let them know I do NOT want OANN channel taken off the package lineup as of APR 2022 (the end of their present contract). I want OANN to be available on DTV or I will be forced to cancel my subscription after 15+ years.
Please sign a new contract with OANN and keep them on DTV!!! OANN is the channel which is played on our tv's almost 24/7, and have been since NOV 2020. Rarely is the tv ever turned OFF.
KEEP OANN on DTV!!! If not … I will be cancelling both our DirecTV accounts and switching to Verizon on our cell phones.

They are not closing down every single person as you accuse. What has happened is that they have been migrating existing posts and directing people to this thread, so it is all in a centralized location.
There are still people who have questions and concerns that have nothing to do with OANN but cannot get their help with people creating new threads for the exact same thing. This keeps it organized so that people who wish to discuss the OANN situation can do so without causing issues for those that don't care because they have other issues.
So OANN and non-OANN interested posters can have their voice. That is certainly different from the WW2 situation I believe you referenced from the "German playbook". Congrats, that war is over.

Who is the genius program director that made the decision to drop OANN media channel from Direct TV access? The (Edited per community guidelines) should be getting rid of CNN the Democrat (Edited per community guidelines) channel. They have lost 90% of their viewers over the last year and OANN has 5 times the number of viewers now that CNN has. I am a retired AT&T employee and am glad this (Edited per community guidelines) doesn't have anything to with my retirement payments. AT&T needs to get back to the business they do well at, Communications, and stay the (Edited per community guidelines) away from politics.

@ juniper Everyone knows how you feel ....why don't you just go to bed and let people talk and leave them alone. You are running on the same ideology that the MSM does by hoping if they say something over and over again you may one day believe it. Well we don't believe you. We also don't believe that the vaccine works.

It will be amazing to see all those going to Truth Social, when the money transfers to what is most popular, AT&T will phase out and be history. Quite frankly I never watch TV anymore, I watch Rumble or some of the TV series programs all in one season. I am sure $6000 a year times many patriots will surely put a dent in Direct Tv dropping OANN.

Truly you must enjoy being the underdog here because the majority of comments are for keeping OANN. Why don't you just start your own forum about dropping it because that's what you want. Then you'll get the followers that believe in you otherwise you should probably just leave.

I am a long time customer of DirecTV satellite and streaming services, since 1992. I too will now be forced to reconsider staying with DirecTV streaming if the contract for OAN is not renewed. I have no idea whether this is politically motivated or not. Regardless, please listen to your customer base. Carrying OAN is a bonus for DirecTV over a number of other streaming competitors. Streaming is a great technology but it also is a risk for companies who don't listen to their customers. It is much easier to move to another streaming service than traditional satellite. Customer satisfaction is key to reducing churn rates.

For only 2.50 per month I now subscribe to KlowdTV and get OAN, OAN Plus, Newsmax, Euronews, InfoWars, and more. I can also watch any of the channels content from the last few days, on demand, its very cool. This is all because I dumped cable last year and switched to one of the app-based delivery systems - I'm using Roku. To start with Roku I went to WalMart and for about $20 or $30 I got a Roku device that converts your existing TV to Roku, all you need is a home Internet connection. Easy as pie to set up. I liked it so much I ended up buying a new TV with Roku built-in. Love it. Saving me tons of money. And it opens up your options tremendously - I also now get Epoch Times TV free of charge, and lots of others.
All you need is an existing Internet connection.

If you convert to Roku, you can still get OAN via KlowdTV for only 2.50 (yes that is two dollars and fifty cents per month), and still get DirecTV and retain that set of channels. KlowdTV includes OAN, OAN Plus, Newsmax, InfoWars, old movies, old TV shows, hunting, fishing, kids, all sorts of channels.. Another advantage is that when use the Roku-based apps, the "contracts" are all month-to-month, not two years. So you could dump any one of them in a month and switch, or mix and match.
I wanted to watch some Star Wars stuff so I subscribed to Disney+ for one month, and can cancel a month later.
If you get fed up with DirecTV's app via Roku, you can drop it and switch to one of many other providers who provide most all of the same channels, and many for about a third of the monthly price - and all can be cancelled within 30 days.
