DIRECTV dropping OANN?

They block me out of my own question.

I will drop AT&T/DirectTV because OAN is no longer there.

My girlfriend phoned DirecTv and they told her they are getting lots calls complaining about the planned drop of OAN and are reconsidering. 

i will cancel my directv services and ATT internet service if you cancel OANN, because they are ONE of MANY MEDIA OUTLETS these days that are spreading lies.   

That is what a Free Country allows. 

So, if you cancel One, then you'd better cancel them all

or the average American will look for ways to show DIRECTV and other private enterprises, WhAT IS WRONG FOR THEM TO SHOW POLITICAL PREFERENCE.  WE ARE TIRED OF THE CANCEL CULTURE FROM THE LEFT.  LETS GET BACK TO THEM MIDDLE AND THE CONSTITUTION OF THESE UNITED STATES BEFORE ALL (Edited per community guidelines) BREAKS LOOSWE.

I don't think (Edited per community guidelines) off  (35-45%) of your customers base is a good business model ??

Let them explain that to their shareholders....

They should get calls about this ! However calling AT&T or DTV is a trying experience, in it's self ! They must enjoy making those long , circular menus that take a long time to get to an actual person ,even longer if you want to talk to a person that actually speaks English. Customer service is a gone item today.

Do not cancel One America News Network

Why are you dropping OAN?  Freedom of the Press is about having access to different opinions/views/news in the public arena and allowing the consumer to draw their own conclusions on the truth of the message.

In the event that DirecTV does follow through with dropping OAN, I can only assume (which is never a good thing to do) that the senior leadership of the corporation has drank the "Suppress Opposing View" coolaid and is attempting to eliminate a voice that they don't fully agree with.

If that is in fact the reasoning, I will need to reassess my decision on who I have chosen as my media provider.

I have been a DirecTV Stream customer from Day 1 of the service.  I can only hope that the DirecTV senior leaders will do same same thing I am doing...  Reassessing their decision.

I look forward to the responses / discussions.

I have been a user since the 2004 first by satellite and now streaming.   

I view your move to cancel News Max and OAN as an infringement on free speech and an attempt to manipulate the upcoming elections and will urge everyone I know to cancel their subscriptions and move their cell phone accounts to T-Mobile.   

I've cancelled DIRECTV Stream due to their blatant bias and censorship demonstrated by cancelling OAN, One Americans News. Woke will go broke. 

I have kept DirecTV Stream because of the fact that they have channels that I can't get on other streaming services. AWE is one those channels. I'm very disappointed that DirecTV is getting rid of channels while at the same time raising prices on subscribers. In what business model is this considered good business processes.

DirecTV choosing not to keep paying to carry OAN is not an infringement of Free Speech. You may not like their decisions, or the possible reasons for it, but it is not an infringement of your rights.

A TV provider may show or not what channels they decide on. Your rights have nothing to do with that. It may be an infringement on what you like, but certainly not your rights.
