I agree...Should they go thru with this.. so will a lot of their subscribers on pulling the plug.... When I called customer service they said  they were tracking it

What is "Perfect English" anyway? America is so large physically that regional dialect and accents can differ greatly, even for those born in-country that are not 2nd/3rd generation from those that moved here. And then of course perhaps those who are actually English, might have a say about that as well.

Not saying there isn't international outsourcing. Just pointing out that "English", perfect or not, can be a bit subjective.

DirecTV publicly announced what they are doing. But so many people are saying what they will do "if" it happens. Per the public announcement, it is not an "if" situation. This is what they are doing.

Ok they are going to drop OAN then I  will be looking somewhere else for cable service or just get internet service and save myself $100 each month.  Then I can watch thru their app. 

I am quite disturbed that Direct TV is canceling One America News.  This network is the reason I have Direct TV and will be canceling it if you cancel One America News.  One America News is a very good network and the only one that speaks truth!

I chose my package specifically for access to OAN news network. Rumors are you are dropping it. If that is the case I will be dropping DirectTv after being a customer for many years. I hope this will not be the case.

I will call as well.  It seems companies need to hear live from their customers just how passionate they are about what they pay for.

If you cannot stand to be without OANN, then certainly go with a provider that has the channels you want. For some that will be changing providers completely, others adding a small streaming option to complement their main TV provider.

No matter the reasoning in their internal review, the bottom line is that it is the TV provider's choice what networks to negotiate a carriage agreement with. There is no requirement or obligation they provide any given channel. As consumers, it is our choice to go with whatever provider best fits. Understandably this situation is distressful to some, but it is not a violation of anybody's rights. Remember, pay TV providers are just an entertainment venue, not something entitled to us as citizens. If they don't have what you want, then you choose to go with whomever does. Simple as that.

You drop the only news channel providing an alternative to (Edited per community guidelines), I will drop you. That simple.

I can assure you we will be dropping directv as soon as you drop OANN and our cellular plans which we have had with at@t for 15+ years. So go ahead; make my day!!!

When you say just go get a supplement to get OANN if DIRECTV drops it misses an important point.   ATT is basically deplatforming this network by dropping it from the line up.  And it certainly appears that is politically motivated to censor the speech they provide from the public.  That is what people are upset about.

long time loyal customer with 2 tv accounts and 1 phone. I have seen many channels disappear over the years,but if direct tv does not renew one of my favorite news channels (OANN) than I will be forced to cancel my accounts.

I am considering moving away from a Cable service to one of the many Streaming platforms.  Channel selections are a key part of this decision along with the cost for these channels.  It appears that OAN is being removed later this year, and would like to understand the reasoning for this plan.

If DirectTV Streaming continues with this plan, I will not consider this service.

all be replaced just on the execution of any sane business model.

If you are a (Edited per community guidelines), drop DirectTV and go to streaming!
DirectTV management must have their 'head' up you know where. How stupid
a move to alienate 50% of the country. Management should be replaced
on that decision alone.  I am gone. Along with my AT&T stock!
