DIRECTV dropping OANN?

How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN?  They do not lie!  The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives!  My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

It is a fact that it was politically motivated so despite any “internal review”, the motivation of the internal decision is well documented.

jquigley_ou - Newsmax also airs the Trump rallies in full & has pre- and post- rally shows.  I flip between OAN and Newsmax during the rallies and have recorded them at times.  Going forward, without DTV, I'll have to come up with another method if I can't watch it live.  Maybe go onto Rumble or RSBN afterwards to watch them.  I will continue to watch OAN and it will most likely be without DirecTV, since that is the only channel keeping me subscribed (12 years now).  Currently trying to empty out my DVR for when I pull the plug!

If Direct TV Cancels OAN, I will cancel my account with Direct TV. It is the primary Chanel i watch. If Direct TV wants to make this type of political statement, you are going to lose customers, like me!! Stop the politics and provide your (Edited per community guidelines) service!!!

If AT&T  cancels OAN news, I will cancel my account with you. I am tired of big companies making political statements. STOP. Just provide your (Edited per community guidelines) service and quit the politics!! You will lose a substantial amount of business that you spent a lot of $$ to get. Stop the POLITICS!!

I just want to add my voice to the chorus of subscribers who are angry over AT&T's decision to not renew OANN.  My family and friends enjoy watching OANN and have appreciated AT&T's previous position which was to provide alternative news sources to allow its clientele to make its own decisions on what they like and what they don't.  I have AT&T for phone, internet and TV and have been willing to a pay a premium for these services because I thought ATT&T was at least a fair and non-political company up until now.  As a long-time subscriber I am asking for AT&T to reconsider and reverse its decision to cancel OANN availability, otherwise, I will no longer purchase or subscribe to any AT&T product or service going forward.  That's a promise.

I also want to express my opinion on the decision to cancel OANN. My husband and I watch that channel everyday, recording many programs for future viewing. I have been a customer since 1990 and have preferred and been willing to pay premium money for our subscription membership,  and so I am asking for AT&T to reconsider and reverse this decision.

Otherwise I will no longer continue to purchase, will cancel my membership. And for your information my circle of friends are also outraged by your above mentioned announcement, and will follow my lead to cancel. We are very serious, this cancel culture will ultimately be cancelled itself, AT&T as well!

Decision has been made. You will need to look at other providers that carry OANN if it is that important to you.

I'm guessing by 1990 you mean AT&T as DirecTV did not exist until 1994.

You will need to get a provider that has OANN then. DirecTV already publicly announced and informed the network that the carriage agreement will not be renewed.

To whom it may concern,
I have done business with AT&T for many many years and have spent thousands of dollars for your services over these years. I am very disappointed in the direction your corporation has decided to go in the near future regarding programming.  First let me say I opted to use your streaming service, only because of specific and preferred channels you carry. I just recently found out that OAN (One American News) will soon be dropped.  This is my "go to" choice for news and if you go ahead and drop them from your programming guide you have "in my opinion" become an accessory in promoting an narrative and agenda that is based in tranny.  You have decided the right for me as a consumer to choose to watch a news outlet I perfer over all others is no longer mine, but yours. Once you dropped them I will have no choice but to cancel all services that your corporation provides, including cell phone service.  
I find your decision politically biased, which leave me aghast in disgust.   You will alienate many from wanting to purchase services or product from you, for this very reason, now or ever in the future.  I ask you to re-evaluate your decision to drop OAN as a choice for your consumers as it will cause you to lose my business.  Maybe to you, my opinion doesn't matter at all. If that be the case then your services are not something I will voice any praise for,  going forward.  I will find a service who regards their consumers opinions and needs first, before politics.  I will also, robustly, recommended to all my friends and family to do the same.

Yes, DirecTV already announced to the public that they informed OANN that the carriage agreement will not be renewed. There is no expectation this will change.

This is a public forum with no account access or proof of actually being a customer. For official word to DirecTV, you will need to call them. This way they can track how many customers this truly matters for, as opposed to those who just jump onto a public bandwagon to complain.

You can check OANN's website for the few other places that carry them.

I did call them and AT&T to voice my concerns and to tell them once this happens I will cancel all services with them. I have been a customer for 30 years like I expressed and will opt to spend my money elsewhere.. Do us all a favor and post alturnative streaming services who will have OAN in their programing lineup. I will be checkibg them out and one of them will earn my business..

OAN is leaving in April. Nothing has been announced regarding NewsMax.

OANN's carriage agreement is not being renewed. Come April, that channel will no longer be on. Nothing to do with NewsMax.

This is DirecTV's decision, so we do not have any say in the matter. You will need to check OANN's website for the few providers that still carry them.

I have had Direct TV for 30 years. If I loose this news station. I will be canceling my services. I am tired of spending my hard earned money on somthing that keeps going up and taking services away. I love OAN News. Its the only news channel I watch. The rest besides News Max just tells lies and follow the democrats like sheep. I wont support anyone that takes away free speech!

I came to DirectStream for OAN & now I hear you are planning to cancel it. Many of us will be canceling our service if you decide that 1A is not an amendment you will uphold. Stay out of politics & present all points of view. There are very few channels for conservatives which account for about half the country.

Most networks get canceled for lack of viewership, or the network is demanding more money than the company executives feel it is worth.
