DIRECTV dropping OANN?

Direct TV has gotten rid of OAN One America News Network. So, after all these years since Direct TV started business, Good ridance Direct TV. Good riddance forever! We don't do sencership. Funny you didn't get rid of the far left Networks CNN, MSN, ABC, etc That we had to hear spew (Edited per community guidelines) for the last 5 years. Should the American People purge Direct TV? Yes!!!

It was DirecTV's choice as they don't have to keep OANN. Since they didn't manipulate the feed to only allow certain content, just simply decided to not keep paying OANN for carriage, then it is not censorship.

As for "purge", whether you refer to the movies, WW2, or the like, that is rather a horrible request. We Americans have fought against such atrocities.

So if you like strawberry ice cream and the store you shop at said well strawberry is not the flavor that our boss likes because it does not fit our agenda so either everybody buy vanilla or chocolate and if that does not work for you take your business elsewhere because we know better than you do. those strawberry farmers are racist. if you were brought up thinking you know what is right for everyone I feel sorry for you. GOD bless America for as long as we live free. which does look like it will be very long the way people are such racist against free thought. Treat your neighbor the way you want to be treated and keep your hate to yourself.

If a store stops selling strawberry ice cream, then if that is your favorite, of course you shop elsewhere. Doesn't matter why the store stopped selling it. If you cannot get by with the remaining options then it is your freedom to shop elsewhere.

The store chooses what products to carry. The consumer chooses where they shop. That is as simple as it gets. Any "hate" in that is self-imposed.

If they don't reinstate one American News I'm out.. I will take my business elsewhere and they can Lose the customer Who feel the same as me. don't dictate to me what I would like to watch give me The Choice.... Bad move on DirecTV's part.... Catering to the lefties....🙄

Do not drop OAN.

I suspect if you do you will lose a lot of customers.
I know I will be one to drop DIRECTV. It appears that this is a politically motivated decision on the part of DirecTV management. If that’s the kind of mentality that DIRECTV provides its viewers then I’m sure dropping DIRECTV will be a benefit to most freedom loving people.

Why has DTV/Comcast discontinued OAN??? We have recently discovered how good this refreshingly honest and accurate news channel is vs. nearly every other one available and have been watching it often. We have spent a lot of money on DTV through a lot of years but have many other choices, including multiple streaming services, available to us, so why should we continue our expensive subscription when DTV/Comcast has apparently been pressured by outside forces to discontinue one of the very few trustworthy news sources available today. If OAN is not reinstated ASAP, we will discontinue our subscription, and we will not be back.

So sad, I turned to Channel 347 and not on air??? OAN is one of the only reasons I had Direct TV. Not only will I be canceling Direct TV, but any affiliated company subscriptions. Direct TV is swallowing the poison pill. See ya

The official reason given was the result of an "internal review. Though they did not explain the details of what was reviewed. If look at any of the man threads in this forum, or just do some web searching, you will see that many have the consensus that it was outside influence. Naturally that has sparked a lot of controversy.

As DirecTV no longer carries the channel, you can check OANN's website for alternative viewing options.
